Dimba Chakra, also known as the newborn chakra, is a snapshot method in Vedic astrology used to gain quick insights into a person's life based on the Nakshatra (lunar mansion) of the Moon at the time of their birth concerning the Sun's Nakshatra. It is traditionally used to give parents information about their newborn child, but it can also be applied to understand the foundational energies influencing a person's life at any age.

The Dimba Chakra is divided into different body parts, each associated with a set of Nakshatras counted from the Sun's position:

  • Chest (Nakshatras 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 from the Sun)Indicates being a leader within the family, having good character, enjoying fame, and being knowledgeable.
  • Navel (Nakshatra 18 from the Sun)Suggests a forgiving nature, artistic skills, religious inclination, and generosity.
  • Sexual Organ (Nakshatra 19 from the Sun)Indicates strong desires, potential for artistic talent and fame, but also a tendency for dissatisfaction and struggles with enjoyment.
  • Thighs (Nakshatras 20, 21 from the Sun)Suggests hard work, travel, enthusiasm, but also potential for fickleness, deceit, and burnout.
  • Feet (Nakshatras 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 from the Sun)Indicates a focus on basic necessities, practicality, service-oriented nature, and fearlessness.
