Nakshatra - 9 Taras
Tara, also known as a star, is a concept in Vedic astrology that describes the relationship between the Moon's Nakshatra (lunar mansion) at the time of birth (Janma Nakshatra) and the Nakshatras occupied by other planets. Each Nakshatra from the Moon's position is assigned a specific Tara, and there are a total of nine primary Taras.
the third, fifth, and seventh Taras from the Moon are considered challenging or difficult, while the others are generally more positive.
- Janma (Birth)This Tara represents beginnings, new ideas, and the initiation of activities. It signifies the birth of a project, idea, or even a person, and it encompasses all kinds of beginnings.
- Sampat (Success)This Tara is associated with receptivity, the ability to enjoy what is given, and accomplishment. It signifies the potential for success and the fulfillment of goals.
- Vipat (Hindrance)This Tara indicates frustration, conflict, and difficulties. It represents obstacles and challenges that one may face in life.
- Kshema (Security)This Tara represents security, well-being, and the ability to operate at one's best. It signifies a sense of safety and comfort, allowing one to thrive and reach their full potential.
- Pratyak (Averted)This Tara signifies lack, limited fulfillment, and the need to seek elsewhere. It represents a feeling of dissatisfaction or incompleteness, prompting one to look for something more.
- Sadhaka (Effective)This Tara represents productivity, efficiency, and perfection. It signifies the ability to complete tasks effectively and achieve desired outcomes.
- Vadha (Slayer)This Tara indicates death, destruction, vulnerability, and fear. It represents challenges, losses, and the potential for endings.
- Mitra (Friendly)This Tara represents benevolence, kindness, proper care, and joy. It signifies positive relationships, support from others, and a sense of well-being.
- Parama Mitra (Best Friend)This Tara signifies the highest friendship, fulfillment, and rewards. It represents the most supportive and beneficial relationships, as well as the attainment of one's goals and desires.
