Nadi - Planets Results Basic
- Beneficial and Malefic Aspect Patterns:
- Irrespective of the sign in which a planet is located, it will yield beneficial results if friendly planets aspect it from the following positions:
- 1st, 5th, and 9th (in the same direction) from the considered planet.
- 3rd, 7th, and 11th (in the opposite direction) from the considered planet.
- 2nd or 12th (in front and rear) from the considered planet.
- 1st, 5th, and 9th (in the same direction) from the considered planet.
- Conversely, it will yield unfavorable results if enemy planets aspect the considered planet from the above positions.
- Irrespective of the sign in which a planet is located, it will yield beneficial results if friendly planets aspect it from the following positions:
- Planetary Exchange Results:
- Even if a planet is not conjoined with or aspected by any other planet, it will yield beneficial outcomes if it is involved in a planetary exchange with a friendly planet and conjoins the friendly planet or receives the aspect of the friendly planet after exchanging houses.
- Conversely, it will yield unfavorable outcomes if it is involved in a planetary exchange with an enemy planet and conjoins the enemy planet or receives the aspect of the enemy planet after exchanging houses.
- Even if a planet is not conjoined with or aspected by any other planet, it will yield beneficial outcomes if it is involved in a planetary exchange with a friendly planet and conjoins the friendly planet or receives the aspect of the friendly planet after exchanging houses.
- Combustion and Planetary Exchange:
- When a planet is located in the same nakshatra pada as the Sun, it is said to be in combustion.
- If the combust planet is involved in a planetary exchange with a friendly planet, conjoins the friendly planet, or receives the aspect of a friendly planet after exchanging houses, it will yield beneficial results.
- Conversely, if the combust planet is involved in a planetary exchange with an enemy planet, conjoins an enemy planet, or receives the aspect of an enemy planet after exchanging houses, it will yield unfavorable results.
- When a planet is located in the same nakshatra pada as the Sun, it is said to be in combustion.
- Debilitated Planet and Planetary Exchange:
- When a debilitated planet is involved in a planetary exchange and conjoins a friendly planet, or receives the aspect of a friendly planet after exchanging houses, we must assume that the debilitation is cancelled (neechabhanga).
- Conversely, if it conjoins an enemy planet or receives the aspect of an enemy planet after exchanging houses, it will yield unfavorable results.
- Even if a planet is in debilitation, if friendly planets are aspecting the debilitated planet from specific positions, we must assume that the debilitation is cancelled.
- From positions 1, 5, 9 (in the same direction) relative to the debilitated planet.
- From positions 3, 7, 11 (in the opposite direction) relative to the debilitated planet.
- From positions 2 and 12 (in the front and rear) relative to the debilitated planet.
- From positions 1, 5, 9 (in the same direction) relative to the debilitated planet.
- If enemy planets are aspecting the debilitated planet from the above places, it will yield unfavorable results.
- When an exalted planet is involved in planetary exchange and conjoins an enemy planet or receives the aspect of an enemy planet after exchanging houses, it will yield unfavorable results. Hence, we have to assume that the exaltation is cancelled (Uchchabhanga). If it conjoins a friendly planet or receives the aspect of a friendly planet after exchanging houses, it will yield beneficial results.
- When a debilitated planet is involved in a planetary exchange and conjoins a friendly planet, or receives the aspect of a friendly planet after exchanging houses, we must assume that the debilitation is cancelled (neechabhanga).
- Retrograde planet
- A retrograde planet will give beneficial results if a friendly planet is placed in the 12th sign from itself. It will give bad results if an enemy planet is placed in the 12th sign from the retrograde planet.
- If a debilitated planet is in retrograde motion and a friendly planet is placed in the 12th sign from the retrograde planet, it will give beneficial results. Hence, we have to assume that the debilitation is cancelled. If an enemy planet is placed in the 12th sign from the retrograde planet, it will give bad results only.
- If an exalted planet is in retrograde motion and an enemy planet is placed in the 12th sign from it, it will give bad results. If a friendly planet is placed in the 12th sign from the retrograde planet, it will give good results only.
- A retrograde planet will give beneficial results if a friendly planet is placed in the 12th sign from itself. It will give bad results if an enemy planet is placed in the 12th sign from the retrograde planet.
- If a planet is placed along with Rahu, then that planet loses its strength, even if it is an exalted planet.
